I was shortly visiting France, actually just for two nights, one in Paris and one in Rouen (about 110km from Paris to northwest). Just enough time to meet new people, buy some new clothing (the airline lost my backpack with all my clothes in it!) and to realize that four hours isn't just enough to see Paris.. :) But I had to hurry to Rouen to see this small gig of one of my favourite artists, Ken Stringfellow.

Anyway I did enjoy every moment of the journey. Weather was chilly and I saw the sun first time on the morning I started to head back home. Rouen was beautiful city and french people were friendly and open and willing to have conversations. I wasn't really proud of being this serious finnish girl that I am. ;)

Now I've been home just for 12 hours now and slept till 2pm today! I just wish I wouldn't have morning sift tomorrow..

Finally back in Finland. I really have enjoyed my time in Weston, but it's also nice to be back home. This is a picture of the house I stayed in. Entry to my flat was actually from the small back door on the left.

Here's two pictures taken from the backyard of my flat. The first one I took two months ago when I arrived to Weston and the second one I took just week before I left England. You can see how spring is turning to summer!

Weston Bayn ranta iltapäivällä. Vesi on laskenut niin kauas, ettei rannalla seisoesssa erota rantaviivaa. Ihastuin täysin Westonin rantaan ja hurjaan merituuleen. Ihmeen autio tuo lumoava paikka kuitenkin oli; vain muutama paikallinen iltapäiväkävelyllään rannan poikki. Ainakin eräs westonilainen tunnisti minut heti turistiksi (oisko kamera mikään vihje..) ja tuli jutustelemaan ja kertomaan Westonista jos jonkinlaista juttua. :)

Vanha rouva ulkoiluttamassa koiraansa sähkö-mopeli-kulkupelinsä turvin.

Grove Park

Here's just a few shots from my trip to Weston-s-Mare this far. These are from Grove Park near my apartment. I've really liked my time here. It's so beautiful and much warmer than in Finland this time of the year. It's pretty windy here though.

Tässä on muutama kuva reissustani Weston-s-Mareen tähän asti. Nämä on otettu Grove Park:sta asuntoni läheltä. Olen viihtynyt täällä ollessani hyvin. Täällä on niin kaunista ja paljon lämpimämpää kuin Suomessa tähän aikaan vuodesta. Tuuli on tosin melko kova.
